Scenic route suitable for everyone.

14 km that run mainly along wide dirt tracks in the highest part of the Ciocco Estate, with natural streams and breathtaking views. The starting point is the Taverna dello Scoiattolo, a suggestive lodge immersed in a centuries-old chestnut forest (opened on request) at about 1000 m above sea level.

Leaving the Taverna behind you, while the chestnut trees gradually give way to beech, you will enjoy a 360° view over the Apennine mountains. You then continue on to the charming Prade Garfagnine, a large alpine meadow dotted with small stone buildings, where cattle grazes on hot summer days. After a relaxing descent, you return to the starting point.
